This wiring plan is for Icom Land Based radios, non submersible models only. It does not apply to other Icom radios.

Mic Gnd.
Common Ground for Mic.
Mic & PTT
Electret Mics only connected here. When Mic is connected via PTT to Ground the radio transmits. (Mic and PTT are in series).
5V
5Volts via a 470R resistor is available here (on some radios.)
3.5mm Pin
Spk+
Speaker Out
Spk Gnd
Speaker Ground (not necessarily commoned with Mic Gnd)
Prog
Porgramming wire for programming the radio.
Radio Models
Most Icom LMR (Land Mobile radios).
